Campus Outreach Atlanta staff are responsible to raise their financial support by giving individuals, local churches, alumni, and businesses the opportunity to invest directly in supporting the work on each campus. Staff have a team of prayer and financial partners who give monthly to the CO Atlanta vision. All contributions are tax-deductible and are receipted by Perimeter Church, the home church for CO Atlanta.
There are three ways that you can give to support staff:
1.Automatic Checking Deduction - a monthly withdrawal from your checking account.
2. Credit Card - a one time or monthly donation through a credit card.
3. Monthly by check - You can send a check to the CO Atlanta offices. For more information, see the FAQ below.
If you would like to give to CO Atlanta electronically simply click the link below for Perimeter Church’s online giving form. Under the distribution drop down menu make sure to select Campus Outreach.
If you have any questions or need to speak with someone about your giving you can
email Daisy Wright at email@example.com
Any giving to Campus Outreach Atlanta staff is a donation to the ministry that we then use to pay that staff person’s salary. Campus Outreach Atlanta and Perimeter Church are 501(c)3, tax-deductible organizations. The funds you give are placed in a support account designated for the staff member you are supporting and will only be used to fund that staff’s salary, taxes, and benefits, such as health insurance. The funds in their support account can also be used to cover some ministry expenses such as mileage to a ministry event, providing their support account is healthy. Staff are responsible for maintaining their fundraising and making sure their support account keeps a positive balance.
All CO Atlanta staff are employees of Perimeter Church. Perimeter houses all the funds given to support CO Atlanta staff and conducts all the accounting necessary to pay staff. Perimeter also gives to support the administrative costs of CO Atlanta. When you support a CO Atlanta staff member you will receive a quarterly statement of all your giving to CO Atlanta and Perimeter Church.
If you wish to support a staff member one time or monthly by check you can mail a check to:
ATTN: Campus Outreach
9500 Medlock Bridge Rd.
Johns Creek, GA 30097
Simply write the staff member’s name in the memo line so we can be sure it goes to the right place. With your check you can include a note to indicate whether this is a one-time gift or monthly recurring pledge. If you wish to give monthly Perimeter Church will send you a letter each month noting how much you have given so far and what is remaining on your pledge for the year. This is only to help you keep track of your giving and does not obligate you to finish the pledge. The letter also contains a return receipt and envelope to send in your next monthly check.
Yes, you can give one-time donations to a staff member either by credit card or by check. By credit card simply click on the online giving link and choose “one-time” on the form. By check simply mail the donation to the address above (Question 3) and include the staff member’s name in the memo line.
If you have MyPerimeter account you can log in at perimeter.org and go to the Giving tab and the My Recurring Gifts. From there you can cancel your giving to the appropriate staff and designations.
If you don’t have MyPerimeter account you can email Doug Mumma with Perimeter’s Accounting Department at firstname.lastname@example.org and notify him with the date of your last donation. This will allow us to stop your pledge and make sure you do not receive any more giving statements. You will still receive an end of year giving statement for tax purposes.
When a staff member transitions off staff with CO Atlanta we will deposit any donations that come in up to the date of their last paycheck (either the 15th or 30th of a month). The staff transitioning is responsible for notifying his or her donors of the transition, last pay date, and how to stop giving. It is also possible to transition your giving to another staff or to CO Atlanta as a whole through the Atlanta Impact Fund. Any surplus funds that remain in the staff member’s support account can be used at the discretion of CO Atlanta and Perimeter Church to supplement other staff support accounts.
Donors wishing to give more generally to CO Atlanta can give to the Atlanta Impact Fund. This fund is used to support CO Atlanta staff, event scholarships for students, mobilization initiatives, and other programs to help college students hear the gospel. Donors can give to this fund just as they would give to any CO Atlanta staff. If giving electronically simply choose “Atlanta Impact Fund” after selecting “Campus Outreach” on the online giving form. If you wish to contribute by check simply include “Atlanta Impact Fund” in the memo line.
Yes. You can give generally to a CO Atlanta event or specifically to a student to attend one of our events. This includes the Summer Leadership Project, New Years Conference, Winter Retreat, and any campus events that have a registration fee. All event donations must be by check, which you can give to the student you are supporting or to any campus staff. You can also mail a check to the same address above (Question 3) and include the student’s name and event in the memo line.
When you give to any purpose to CO Atlanta you will receive and end of the year tax statement. The statement is mailed around the middle of January. If you do not receive your tax statement please email Kelsey Dykes at email@example.com and we will make sure to get one to you.
